§ Captain MargessonThe Committee referred to by my hon. and gallant Friend was not formed to draw up rules of discipline but to prepare regulations for the Auxiliary Territorial Service in accordance with instructions from the appropriate authorities. The officer in question was selected by the War Office in view of her experience and special qualifications for the work, and no recommendations were called for from commands.
