§ Captain MargessonI am afraid that it would not be possible without calling for returns from every unit to state the amount of waste oil drained from Army vehicles over a given period. The amount of waste oil salved during the three months ended 31st May, 1941, however, was 8.56 per cent, of the amount 497W of lubricating oil issued in that period, and this was sold at an average price of 3½. a gallon.
