§ Captain MargessonThe Ministry of Information is responsible for Press conferences held at the Ministry at which official statements on military affairs are made. Such statements are approved by high military authority before issue. Statements made by military spokesmen overseas have the authority of the Commander-in-Chief concerned, and all messages reporting such statements are subject to censorship by the local military censors in the ordinary way.
