AndersonIn a large number of areas which I have declared to be aliens' protected areas, no alien, other than a French national, is allowed to have in his possession or to use certain prohibited articles, including telescopes, field glasses or similar optical instruments, without the written permission of the police. So far as additional telescopes and field glasses are required for the Army, this is a matter for the War Office, and I have brought my hon. and gallant Friend's suggestion to the notice of my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for War.
