§ Sir J. AndersonFour laboratories have so far been established, and it is proposed to establish a fifth in the near future. Twenty-eight persons are employed in the existing laboratories, including 13 scientific officers. The laboratory system has proved of great value to the police service and to the courts and has amply justified its establishment.
