Reedasked the Minister of Health whether his attention has been called to the action of many rating authorities, following the decision of the High Court in what is known as the Robinson case, materially to raise the assessments on licensed premises; and whether, in view of the dislocation and loss of business suffered by licensees in many parts of 235W the country consequent on the war, he will advise the rating authorities to suspend the higher charges until such time as these economic disturbances have passed?
