§ Captain Nieldasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether he is aware that boys of the King's School, Chester, who are engaged in the heavy work of cultivating vegetable crops have been refused rations of tea and sugar; and whether he will take steps to see that such rations are allowed?
§ Mr. BoothbyMy Noble Friend appreciates the value of the work which the boys of this and other schools are doing in harvesting and cultivating various food crops but he would not feel justified in increasing their normal rations of tea and sugar.
