§ Mr. Craven-Ellisasked the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster whether he can give an assurance that before any arrangements are made to introduce an emergency Potato Distribution Scheme the various mistakes will be avoided which, in the Fish Distribution Scheme, proved a failure in practice; and, as the quantity of potatoes produced in this country is sufficient for home consumption and imports are negligible, he will avoid, as far as possible, any unnecessary interference with the normal channels of distribution of potatoes?
