§ Sir J. SimonThe answer to the first part of the question is in the negative and the second part therefore does not arise. In reply to the third part of the question, Lord Weir's Conference has, owing to the outbreak of war, expedited its inquiries and I understand that it hopes to present its conclusions to the Government in the very near future.
