§ Captain CrookshankI cannot agree that the prescribed forms are vague or inadequate for the purpose of claiming compensation payable in terms of the Compensation (Defence) Act, 1939. The forms have been drafted in plain language, to meet all the various classes of claim which it is open to the party to make under the Act. There is nothing, moreover, to prevent a claimant from amplifying his particulars of claim should he so wish. I do not think it practicable to issue a typical claim form, as suggested by the hon. and gallant Member, since each claim would necessarily depend on the facts of the particular case.
