§ Mr. ElliotBy the provision to which my hon. Friend refers Parliament has recently reviewed disqualifications which would otherwise have arisen in the case of members of a council being employed in Civil Defence service for reward, and, in the circumstances, I do not feel justified in asking local authorities to make special returns to me on this matter.
