asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs the names of the foreign countries with which Great Britain has conventions in operation regarding legal proceedings similar to that entered into with Jugoslavia on 27th February, 1936, and ratified on 28th June, 1937; and which of these conventions apply to Scotland?

The following are the countries with whom conventions to facilitate legal proceedings in civil and commercial matters have been concluded: Austria, Belgium, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iraq, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Yugoslavia.
