§ Mr. Bellengerasked the President of the Board of Trade whether most-favoured-nation agreements operate between this country and the Oslo Convention States; and whether, arising out of the Oslo Convention, any representations have been made to any of these States as to Great Britain's rights under the most-favoured-nation clause?
Mr. StanleyI assume the hon. Member has in mind the Convention recently concluded at the Hague by the so-called Oslo States. The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative and to the second in the negative.
