§ Mr. Leckieasked the Minister of Transport whether it is the intention of his Department that there should be any difference in responsibility in case of accident at a pedestrian crossing between one marked by official beacons and one not so marked; and whether he will bring pressure to bear on local authorities which do not at present fix beacons at their crossings to fall into line?
§ Mr. Hore-BelishaCrossings to have the protection of the law must be marked by beacons or traffic lights, and if my hon. Friend knows of any crossings which are not so marked I should be grateful if he would let me have particulars.
