WILSONasked the Minister of Agriculture whether he is aware that many local and other authorities are deterred from adopting a more active policy in regard to allotments by the complicated state of the law on that subject which has not been consolidated for England and Wales since 1908; and whether he will endeavour to promote at an early date a fresh Consolidation Bill on that subject?
§ Mr. ELLIOTI was not aware of the difficulty referred to by my hon. and gallant Friend, but I will carefully consider his suggestion for consolidating legislation.
