§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAThere are a number of cases in which the supply of electricity has been substantially cheapened as a result of the operations of the Central Electricity Board of which I may cite the Peterborough Corporation and the Mersey Power Company. In answer to the second part of the question, the Act precludes the board from forcing any undertaker to take a grid supply at a cost greater than that at which he could himself produce it.
