§ Mr. RHYS DAVIESasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of the strength of feeling in China in favour of the non-recognition of Manchuria and in order not to imperil Lancashire trade with the 400,000,000 people of China, he will continue to abstain from recognising the new Government of Manchuria with its population of 40,000,000?
