§ Mr. HORE-BELISHAI have been informed that in some cases the wholesale price has been reduced to the extent stated in the question. The undertaking given by the Brewers' Society had reference solely to the price to the consumer, and the question of the relations between the brewers and the retailers is not one in which I could intervene.
