§ Mr. DENVILLEasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury if he will include in the travelling vouchers issued to Members of Parliament the right to use them to travel by air to the permitted destinations?
§ Major ELLIOTI understand that there are at present no regular air services in this country, and it would be impracticable to authorise the use of Members' travelling vouchers for special hirings. Moreover the arrangement would be contrary to the present terms of the Vote relating to travelling expenses of Members.
