§ Mr. EDENUnder the existing rules of procedure publicity is ordinarily only given to the number of petitions received, the numbers declared to be receivable and non-receivable and the number of petitions of which the examination by a committee of three members of the council has been completed. My right hon. Friend regrets, therefore, that he is not in a position to supply the information desired.
