asked the President of the Board of Trade what was the number of skimmed condensed-milk cases imported into this country in February last and the corresponding figure for March; and what were the countries from which they were imported?

The imports of condensed milk into the United Kingdom are recorded by hundredweights only, and the following table shows the total weight of sweetened condensed milk, separated or skimmed, imported into the United Kingdom and registered during the months of February and March, respectively, distinguishing the countries whence these imports were consigned. No information is available in regard to the imports of other descriptions of skimmed condensed milk.
