GOWERasked the Minister of Health whether he will give a list of the public assistance committees from which he has received resolutions of protest regarding the rule preventing the test work required to be done by a person in receipt of unemployment relief being proportionate to the amount of relief received by such person; and what reply he has made to the committees sending such resolutions?
§ Mr. GREENWOODI am not aware of any formal resolutions dealing with this point, but the question has been raised with a number of local authorities. I have in such cases expressed the view indicated in the reply given to the question of the hon. Member on this subject on 26th January.
