§ Mr. LEES-SMITHSub-postmasters receive a guinea a year, plus cost-of-living bonus, in respect of call offices for which they are responsible; or if no coin box is fitted 10 per cent. of the local call receipts if that is greater. They also receive credit for outward trunk calls and certain other services with which they may have to assist; and they enjoy a free inward telephone service.
