§ Mr. MELLERasked the Minister of Health what action he proposes to take with regard to the communication he has 645W received from the Long Thornton and District Improvement Association, Limited, relative to defects in houses erected in Hassocks, Windermere, and Chilmark Roads, Streatham Vale, in respect of which a Government subsidy of £50 per house has been paid and advances under the Small Dwellings (Acquisition) Act have been made by the Mitcham Urban District Council?
§ Mr. GREENWOODI have communicated with the local authority concerned, and am informed that they have taken such steps as are open to them to secure the remedying of the defects by the builder. No further action is open to me.
