§ Sir J. GILMOURThe hon. Member is apparently referring to the Circular issued on 3rd October by the Scottish Board of Health to all local authorities in Scotland. I am sending him a copy of that Circular, from which he will see that no reference is made to any particular type of house, and that the amount of the proposed special premium is £40 per house. The conditions attached to this premium are contained in the Circular. The expenditure involved will be included608W in the Scottish Board of Health Vote, and can be discussed by Parliament when the Board's Estimates are presented.
