§ Colonel WEDGWOODasked the Secretary of State for India whether notices have been issued by the Bombay High Court, under Section 10 of Letters Patent, against pleaders and barristers who took the pledge as passive resisters to disbar them; whether this is contrary to the declaration of His Majesty's Government that no steps would be taken to punish passive resisters; and, if so, will they indicate to the High Court that their action is undesirable?
