Petition of the Mayor, aldermen and burgesses of the Borough of Croydon under their Corporate Seal praying for leave to introduce a Bill to enable the Mayor, aldermen and burgesses of the Borough of Croydon to pay compensation for certain loss injury or damage resulting from an outbreak of typhoid fever in the said Borough during the latter part of the year nineteen hundred and thirty-seven, notwitstanding certain provisions of the Public Authorities Protection Act, 1893, and the Fatal Accidents Act, 1846, and for other purposes, together with a copy of the proposed Bill annexed thereto: Read, and referred to the Examiners.
