In section 133 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 (general interpretation of Part 2) after subsection (1) insert—
(1A) A reference in subsection (1) to section 37 or 41 of the Mental Health Act or to Part 3 of that Act includes a reference to that section or Part as it applies by virtue of section 5 of the Criminal Procedure (Insanity) Act 1964 or section 6 or 14 of the Criminal Appeal Act 1968.''
