§ The Lord Chancellor (Lord Mackay of Clashfern)My Lords, before the commencement of business, I take the opportunity to inform the House that I am to undertake official engagements in Edinburgh related to the state visit of the King and Queen of Norway between Tuesday 5th and Thursday 7th July 1994. Accordingly I trust that the House will agree to grant me leave of absence between Tuesday 5th and Thursday 7th July.
