My Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 1. While the Bill was in another place, the Government made the three amendments listed on the amendment sheet. Each arises out of Clause 33 of the Bill (application in Northern Ireland) and is designed to protect the application of United Kingdom legislation in Northern Ireland. The amendments are purely technical and I ask the House to approve the Bill as amended. I beg to move that Amendment No. 1 be agreed to.
