§ The Lord ChancellorMy Lords, I beg to introduce a Bill to restrict the circumstances in which the rights of persons in occupation of registered land constitute overriding interests for the purposes of the Land Registration Acts 1925 to 1971 and in which purchasers of unregistered land are affected with notice of the rights of persons in occupation of the land.
