§ The Lord ChancellorMy Lords, Amendments Nos.1, 2, 5 and 6, to which I now speak, all relate to the retrieval of mistakes in drafting. They relate to the fact that the Bill as at present drafted speaks of the standard level of penalties, which is appropriate only to summary offences, whereas they are applied in the Bill to indictable offences, which are not appropriate. That mistake is now retrieved, if the House agrees with the Commons in these four amendments. With the leave of the House, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendments Nos. 1, 2, 5 and 6 en bloc.
