HL Deb 09 July 1982 vol 432 c995
Lord Campbell of Alloway

My Lords, I beg leave to ask the Question which stands in my name on the Order Paper.

The Question was as follows:

To ask Her Majesty's Government whether there is cause for concern for the welfare of those in captivity who served with our forces to restore lawful administration to our territories in the South Atlantic.

Lord Skelmersdale

None, my Lords. Following the release on 8th July yesterday of Flight Lieutenant Glover there are no British servicemen being held by Argentina.

Lord Campbell of Alloway

My Lords, I thank my noble friend for that categoric and unqualified Answer which negatives the rumours that prompted the asking of this Question.

Lord Skelmersdale

My Lords, I am extremely grateful to my noble friend.
