My Lords, I beg leave to introduce a Bill to create extraterritorial offences under the law of Northern Ireland, to amend as respects those and other offences the criminal law of Northern Ireland, to provide for obtaining evidence in Northern Ireland for the trial of offences in the Republic of Ireland and to amend the Backing of Warrants (Republic of Ireland) Act 1965, and Explosive Substances Act 1883 and the law about the prosecution of offences. I beg to move that this Bill be read a first time.
