HL Deb 11 May 1972 vol 330 c1138

3.36 p.m.

THE LORD CHANCELLOR

My Lords, I beg to move that Lord Simon of Glaisdale be appointed a member of the Joint Committee in place of Lord Colville of Culross. Perhaps your Lordships will forgive me if I express on your Lordships' behalf, and certainly on my own, my gratitude to my noble friend Lord Colville for his services, both as a member and more recently as Chairman of the Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills, which have been of the greatest assistance to the House and to myself. I beg to move.

Moved, That the Lord Simon of Glaisdale be appointed a member of the Joint Committee in the place of the Viscount Colville of Culross.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
