My Lords, I beg to move the first Motion standing in my name on the Order Paper.

Moved, That, until Parliament is prorogued, Standing Order No. 35 (Arrangement of the Order Paper) be suspended so far as is necessary to give Government business, except with the consent of the Government, precedence over other Notices and Orders of the Day; and that Standing Order No. 41 (No Two Stages of a Bill to be taken on one day) be suspended during the same period.—(Lord Shackleton.)
