HL Deb 20 March 1969 vol 300 c1015
THE MINISTER OF STATE, FOREIGN AND COMMONWEALTH OFFICE (LORD CHALFONT)

My Lords, with the leave of the House I should like to make a brief personal statement. I notice from the OFFICIAL REPORT of yesterday's proceedings in this House that I said that copies of the Anguilla (Temporary Provision) Order 1969 would be laid before the House. I am afraid that this is technically inaccurate. This is not an Order in Council which is required to be laid before Parliament. What I should have said was that copies of the Order would be generally available to-day; and in fact the printed Paper Office now has 75 copies of the Order available for your Lordships' House.
