THE LORD CHANCELLOR (LORD GARDINER)

My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend Lord Hughes, I beg to move that this Bill be now read a second time. (Scotland) Act 1967, and certain other enactments relating to housing in Scotland. This being a Consolidation Bill, if your Lordships give it a Second Reading it will go in the usual way to the Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills. I beg to move.

Moved, That the Bill be now read 2a.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Bill read 2a, and referred to the Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills.
