HL Deb 18 July 1967 vol 285 c243

5.0 p.m.

LORD HUGHES

My Lords, I beg to move that the Material Development (Scotland) (No. 2) Regulations 1967 be approved. These Scottish Regulations are very similar to the regulations just moved by my noble friend Lord Kennet. They in fact cover exactly the same ground. In addition, we are taking the opportunity in Regulation 2(b) and (c) to correct minor slips in the original regulations by removing certain brackets which were printed there by error. This adjustment has of course no effect on the substance of the regulations. Apart from that the only differences between the two sets of regulations are those arising from the customary differences of style in our two countries. I beg to move.

Moved, That the Material Development (Scotland) (No. 2) Regulations be approved.—(Lord Hughes.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
