HL Deb 18 January 1967 vol 279 c116
LORD BROCKWAY

My Lords, I beg leave to ask the first Question which stands in my name on the Order Paper.

[The Question was as follows:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what representations have been made to the Government of the United States of America regarding the bombing of Hanoi, with resulting loss of civilian life.]

THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS (LORD CHALFONT)

My Lords, I wonder whether I might ask my noble friend to be good enough to wait for a short while. A Statement is being made on this subject this afternoon in another place, and I shall, with your Lordships' permission, be repeating it later.

LORD BROCKWAY

My Lords, of course I will await that Statement.
