My Lords, I beg leave to introduce a Bill to empower local authorities in England and Wales to require the registration of buildings used by clubs and kindred bodies for purposes of entertainment, dancing and the playing of games and to confer certain powers of control in respect thereof, and for connected purposes. I beg to move that this Bill be read a first time.
