HL Deb 21 June 1961 vol 232 cc611-2
EARL ST. ALDWYN

My Lords, in view of the fact that the House was unable to complete the Rating and Valuation Bill Committee stage last night, it will be necessary to complete this tomorrow, Thursday, and I think it might be for the convenience of the House if we were to meet at 2.30 instead of 3 p.m.

In view of the number of speakers in to-day's debate, dinners will be available in the restaurant, but it would greatly facilitate the catering arrangements if noble Lords could notify by 4 o'clock if they intend to dine in. I should like to take this opportunity of informing your Lordships that in future it will be possible to obtain snacks and light refreshments at any time when the House is sitting.
