§ THE LORD CHANCELLORMy Lords, I am sure your Lordships will allow me to move the second Motion formally. I beg to move.
§ Moved, That an humble Address be presented to Her Majesty under section seven of the Emergency Laws (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1947, praying that Regulations 1 and 6 of the Defence (Armed Forces) Regulations, 1939, which would otherwise expire on the tenth day of December, nineteen hundred and fifty-eight, be continued in force for a further period of one year until the tenth day of December, nineteen hundred and fifty-nine.—(The Lord Chancellor.)
