HL Deb 12 July 1954 vol 188 cc655-6
LORD HAWKE

My Lords, by leave of the House I should like to correct something that I said in our debate of last Wednesday. I should have said that there are twenty-three aerodromes, instead of twenty-two, receiving protection under the Order we were then discussing, the extra one being Redhill whose public licence had recently been cancelled at the request of the owners. Redhill thus became a manufacturers' aerodrome, protected under the new Order discussed that day. I apologise for having misled the House.

EARL JOWITT

If the noble Lord never makes a worse mistake than that, he will not come to any unfortunate end.
