HL Deb 30 July 1953 vol 183 cc1237-8

7.11 p.m.

EARL FORTESCUE

My Lords, I should like to remind your Lordships that after we have met to-morrow at half-past eleven for the Royal Commission which is to take place at 11.45 a.m. we shall adjourn until Tuesday, October 20. It is expected that Parliament will be prorogued during the Parliamentary week beginning Monday, October 26, and that the new Session will be opened on Tuesday, November 3. A Sessional Order makes it possible to, recall the House earlier, if that should be necessary in the public interest.
