My Lords, I beg leave to introduce a Bill to repeal the Animals (Anæsthetics) Act, 1919, and to extend the provisions of the Protection of Animals Acts, 1911 to 1933, in relation to the performance of operations on animals; and to move that this Bill be read a first time.
