Order of the Day read for the consideration of the Third Report from the Select Committee.

The Committee reported as follows:

1.—PALACE OF WESTMINISTER.

The Committee approved the re-allocation of accommodation in the Palace of Westminster necessitated by alterations in the arrangements for the hearing of Appeals.

2.—CLOSING OF LIBRARY.

The Committee decided to limit the numbers of visitors to the library to six in any party, except by special permission.

3.—PROVISION OF UNIFORMS FOR DOOR-KEEPERS.

The Committee authorised the provision of a dress suit to Doorkeepers, in lieu of the existing allowance, on appointment; and the payment of half the cost of subsequent renewals, when necessary, after a minimum period of three years.
