My Lords, on behalf of my noble friend Lord Faringdon, I beg to ask the third question which stands in his name.

[The question was as follows:

To ask His Majesty's Government whether they will represent to the Greek Government the inadvisability of carrying out the sentences of death passed on three men in connexion with killings during the recent civil war in view of the present state of feeling in the country and the possibility of violent repercussions.]
