§ LORD ADDISONMy Lords, before we adjourn I should like to be allowed to intervene on a personal matter. For the second time, as was announced by the noble Earl yesterday, the Motion standing on the Paper in my name relating to the Coal Commission has been postponed at the request of the Department. I am very sorry because a number of noble Lords who had expressed their intention of being here to take part in the discussion may have been put to some inconvenience. I am sorry that the Motion has been postponed, but I was told postponement would suit the convenience of the Department and I want to take this opportunity of saying so.
