THE LORD PRIVY SEAL (VISCOUNT HALIFAX)

My Lords, to-morrow there is the Motion by Lord Arnold, and we also desire to take the Second Reading of the Old Age Pensions Bill. On Thursday we propose to take the Second Reading of the Public Health (London) Bill and of the British Shipping (Continuance of Subsidy) Bill that came from another place to-day. On Friday it will be necessary to have a formal sitting to receive the Consolidated Fund (No. 2) Bill. It will also be necessary to ask the House to sit on Monday, March 30, in order to pass the Consolidated Fund (No. 2) Bill through all its stages. On that day also we propose to take the Second Reading of the Unemployment Insurance (Agriculture) Bill and the Committee stage of the British Shipping (Continuance of Subsidy) Bill, and there will be a Royal Commission. On Tuesday, March 31, there will be the Third Reading of the British Shipping (Continuance of Subsidy) Bill. On Wednesday there is a Motion on the Paper by Lord Howard of Penrith. On Thursday, April 2, there will be the Committee stage of the Unemployment Insurance (Agriculture) Bill and a Motion by the noble Marquess, Lord Lothian, on the Constitution of Palestine.
